Apart from the technology, I think I’ve adapted to online life. My personality in my videos is becoming a lot closer to what I think I’m like in real life. I’m not Jamie with the nerd pants any more, I’m just Jamie in her pyjama pants. Except I’m probably much more inappropriate in real life than I am in my videos. Camera Jamie is just an exaggerated version of me, with a few fun twists. Like I said, my obsession with Channing Tatum isn’t actually real — that’s just a long-running gag I’ve held on to. Sorry, Channing. Stop calling me.

If you want to be a YouTuber, I would say go for it. I definitely think it’s possible for people to start out now, you just have to be original and be yourself. That’s so boring and clichéd, but I think that’s the best place to start. Just think, whatever I’m doing, do the opposite. You’ll be sweet. Make sure you’re having fun. Post stuff that you think is funny, because chances are there is a group out there with the exact same sense of humour as you. But at the same time, don’t take it to heart if people don’t like your stuff. Not everyone will think you are great or funny or cool or pretty. It’s impossible to please everyone in the whole world. Just please yourself.
